For over 20 years, Franco and Lina Bruno have been servicing Melbourne's South-East suburbs with quality Sicilian pastries and cakes. Franco began his profession as a Pastry Chef at the early age of 14 in his home town of Messina, Sicily. He and his wife Lina came to Australia with their 3 children in early 1994 and began a small family business trading in their specialty of delightful handmade sweets. Soon enough, this lead to the craze of the famous and top selling ‘Bianco e Nero’ cake, a sweet profiterole cake filled with Italian custard and covered in a delicious chocolate mousse. This, along with numerous pastries, biscuits and desserts has since been taught to his children whom along with him, are helping to continue the tradition of serving sweet and scrumptious cakes for all to enjoy.
